The project designed on the plot of Camí dels Castellans in Jávea, aims to adapt to the topography of the plot, with a strong unevenness, and elongated, placing the building in the widest part of the plot, which is the one that enjoys better views, since from that point we can get to observe the sea.

It is intended to compose the building with two clearly differentiated bodies, on the one hand a basement element, which is completely open on three of its four sides, and which emerges as a framing element of the landscape. This base body houses the rooms that make up the day area of the house.

The large windows give a great visual perspective to the house. It is a "dematerialized" body, since three of its four sides are perforated by the accesses or by the large windows, which make the interior of the house merge with the exterior and turn the focus of the distant landscape into an absolute priority of the building. architecture.

Volumetrically, these bodies adapt the building to the Jávea regulations that require the construction of 50% of the building with a sloping roof. This obligatory aesthetic condition of the building becomes a compositional gesture, which gives the upper floor great dynamism, since each volume has a different slope.
